    Like AFFC, not as good as the first three, but hopefully sets up something really good. Good world building, but feels disjointed overall.

    Characters we no longer about. Events we no longer care about. The author has suddenly discovered that besides bathing and eating he can also describe torturing — oh joy! Characters' decisions and actions change on a whim. Unlikely events just to resolve the plot in almost every chapter. At most two or three chapters are interesting, and they are those where the author starts describing scheming and plotting that make sense. Unfortunately, only those chapters make sense. Oh, and the countless flashbacks to scenes we've already had a thousand flashbacks in previous books or even in this same very book by the same very characters!
